Chalet Molitor, as seen by Artravel
Artravel magazine featured an article on Chalet Molitor, the newest addition to the Les Chalets des Fermes collection in Megève. Translated excerpt:
“Just a few minutes’ walk from the village and its bell tower, offering a breathtaking and utterly magical view, this new chalet—part of the Les Chalets des Fermes collection—brilliantly combines rustic elegance with contemporary design. Everything that makes the mountains so charming and gives the Molitor its appeal, with its green shutters, is inspired by one of the village’s founding fathers, the architect Henry Jacques Le Même.”
This 330 m² retreat, spread over three floors, harmoniously blends the authentic charm of the mountains with an artistic spirit, bearing the hallmark of Les Chalets des Fermes and their bespoke 5-star hotel service.
Chalet Molitor stands out for its refined interior, where contemporary furniture is paired with traditional objects. The spacious living room and dining room, which can seat up to ten guests, reinterpret the traditional Alpine chalet style with a touch of modernity and warmth. Green and terracotta tones are paired with rich fabrics and decorative elements such as XXL cast-iron bells and ceramics. The bedrooms, designed as suites, feature elegant tones ranging from green to blue, with custom-made headboards and luxurious fabrics.
The atmosphere at Molitor is defined by its unique décor, designed by artist Franck Lebraly, which adorns the chalet’s walls and beams. After a day of skiing or a walk in the woods, guests can unwind in the outdoor Nordic bath overlooking a breathtaking panorama, or enjoy the sauna in the gym. Every detail reflects the Sibuet family’s love of beauty and exclusivity.”
