A Megève institution that opened more than 70 years ago, the family-run Roc grocery store has, since last winter, become the Épicerie des Megève, operated by Les Fermes de Marie. What can you find there? A delicious selection of local and artisanal products, as well as items from around the world—available exclusively here—carefully selected by Marie and Nicolas Sibuet. In short, nothing but the very best.

A Thousand Savory and Sweet Delights

Located at the intersection of five streets, this small grocery store is brimming with treasures for any self-respecting foodie. It features some 1,000 handpicked items, carefully sourced from Italy and from local producers and artisans, as well as from Marie and Nicolas Sibuet’s travels and personal favorites; a superb selection of spirits and wines with over 400 varieties; and a wide array of deli dishes prepared with love.

The products are, of course, seasonal: exquisite cold cuts and cheeses sliced to order from the Aosta Valley or from local master cheesemakers (Flumet, Combloux, Demi-Quartier, Thonon), farm-fresh yogurt, locally grown fruits and vegetables, homemade honey, Piedmontese nocciolata, olive oils from Tourtour, truffles from the Luberon, caviar from Kaviari, and house-made foie gras and smoked salmon. L’Épicerie also offers an enviable catering menu, with dishes available for takeout or delivery every day, year-round—all made in-house: pâtés en croûte and terrines, truffle-stuffed coquillettes, veal blanquette, beef bourguignonne, Savoyard fondue kits, soups, ice cream, cakes, coulis, and jams. When it comes to wine, Nicolas hunts down rare finds, in addition to wines from Maisons & Hôtels Sibuet, produced at the Domaine de Marie in Ménerbes. The true taste of the finer things in life.
